Lisa Jones, CPA
Managing Partner
Lisa Jones became a shareholder of Campbell Jones Cohen CPAs in 1999 after having been a valuable part of the firm since 1994. Lisa has 30 years of experience in the areas of audit, advisory and tax. Lisa works with clients in a wide variety of industries including real estate, construction, professional service and cannabis. Her primary focus is tax planning and advisory.
Lisa is originally from Salem, Massachusetts. She graduated from Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida with a B.S. in Accounting and Business Administration in 1994. Lisa has been a licensed CPA in Nevada since 1996. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Nevada Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Lisa serves as treasurer of Southern Nevada Trades High School, a local chartered school.
Gary Campbell, CPA
Partner
Gary Campbell began his career in public accounting in 1980 with a local firm prior to founding Campbell, Jones & Co., CPAs, Ltd. Gary has been providing clients with accounting and tax services for over 40 years. His vast experience allows him to provide clients with creative tax and consulting solutions on a wide array of business subjects.
Gary is originally from Bountiful, Utah. He graduated from the Utah State University with a B.S. in Accounting in 1979. Gary has been a licensed CPA in Nevada since 1982 and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Nevada Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is licensed in both Idaho and Nevada.
Elizabeth Mercier, CPA
Partner
“Beth” has more than 24 years of experience in the areas of tax, audit and financial consultation. She is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and Nevada Society of CPAs. Beth brings to the firm high energy and a professional demeanor that puts her clients at ease, even through stressful times.
Beth’s awards include Graduate of Leadership Las Vegas in June 2010, an executive development program sponsored by Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce, recognizing high potential leaders; “40 under 40 Community Trail Blazers” honors in 2012; and Top 10 Elite Managing Partner in the Country by Accounting Today, a New York media company, in 2014.
Beth’s areas of expertise are non-profit organizations, audits, tax returns, consultations, forensic accounting and expert witness.
Kay See, CPA
Partner
Kay is a 2012 graduate of UNLV with a Master of Science degree in accounting. She has been working for Campbell Jones Cohen CPAs since January 2009 preparing tax returns and financial statements for clients. She started with the firm as a part-time data entry clerk for tax season and quickly decided that working at the firm was “fun” and returned to college to earn her degree in accounting. As a result of her persistence, Kay successfully became a certified public accountant in 2013, and also serves on the Advisory Board for the UNLV Accounting Department. Kay’s expertise is in audits of non-profit organizations and trust tax returns.
Jack Cohen
Founder – Retired
Jack Cohen became a partner of Campbell Jones Cohen CPAs when his company, Jack Cohen CPA LLC, merged with Campbell Jones & Co., Ltd. in 2013. Jack also founded Your Nevada Corporate Solutions in 2008 to provide clients with business formation and registered agent services.
Jack Cohen has spent his entire career involved with federal taxes. Jack had an exceptional career at the Internal Revenue Service for 33 years where he managed some of the largest corporate audits in the nation. For his work as a manager in the Large and Mid-sized Business Division, he was given the David Bernard Award in 2006, which is emblematic of employee of the year nationwide within the division.
Jack is licensed as a CPA in Nevada, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Jack is also a licensed real estate broker in Nevada and in Pennsylvania.
Myra Rabanal
Registered Agent Manager
As manager for Campbell Jones Cohen CPAs’ sister company, Your Nevada Corporate Solutions (YNCS), Myra works in conjunction with CJC, managing resident agent services and business filings nationwide for clients with businesses. She has been with the firm since its inception in 2008. Myra’s background is in marketing and public relations.
Leigh Abero
Senior Registered Agent Administrator
Leigh coordinates registered agent and corporate filing services for clients and contributes more than 16 years of experience in the financial industry. She is experienced in client service, business development, call center management, and personal and auto loan processing.
Sophia Mendoza
Registered Agent Administrator
Sophia assists with client service, billing and business filings for clients and has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing from University of Nevada – Las Vegas.
